Mortimer's Bar and Restaurant

Located on the corner of Lyndale and Franklin since 1976, many people have made Mortimer’s a significant part of their lives. We feel that the only way to repay the love and loyalty is to do everything we can to make Mortimer’s an asset to the community. We will remain the same neighborhood bar in the same place, with just a little different look and a whole lot of fun.

Always having been known for our happy hour – there are still 2 for 1’s from open until 6pm every day, and $3 happy hour on taps and rails from 9pm – 11pm. We’ve added some classic cocktails to our repertoire – nothing too fancy, just good and strong. The updated food menu will feature comforting bar fare made in house, sure to satisfy any palate.

And as for the biggest change… Mortimer’s is thrilled to announce that they are now a music venue as well! There will be regularly scheduled live music in the stage room (Oliver’s), while the main bar will always be open with no cover. Come by and be a part of the renaissance of music in Uptown. Or just stop in for a drink. We’ll be here.
